Also ideal for emerging presbyopes and those with low levels of astigmatism, this premium lens can improve contrast sensitivity and depth perception for better anticipation and response, even in low light conditions. Frequency 55 Aspheric uses aberration-blocking (AB) technology that ensures exceptional comfort with crisp visual acuity. This reduces spherical aberration, which occurs when a lens is ground spherical and does not address the irregular shape of the cornea. In this situation, light rays fall at different points on the macula where by a common focus can not be achieved. With AB technology, a series of curves are designed to reflect light to a centralized point.
